Easter

Well me and my son had a few days away at Hemsby in a friends caravan. We had a great time with walks along the beach, nice food and spent far too much money on the 2p machines. Then what else do you expect taking a 7 year old to Hemsby ! He even went into the sea even though I told him it was going to be cold. He went in and was shouting "its sooooooooooo freezing" which did make me laugh. I do not drive so my friend took us there on Wednesday and we got the bus back on Saturday. The bus journey was really good nice and smooth and the buses where even on time. We had to get two buses one from Hemsby to Great Yarmouth the Great Yarmouth to Norwich. However I have decided that I am going to learn to drive and get myself a little car. I want to have passed my driving test and have got myself a car by the end of the year (but really would like before then) so I have got lots of saving up to do. Well here are a few of my favourite pictures of our days away

So I have had a couple of small cross stitch finishes. One is a cute sheep brooch and the other is a little cat with the letter i. The sheep brooch has gone over to my facebook page littlemisscrossstitch for sale and the cat one is going to be made into a ATC. I have joined a group on facebook where they have different swaps going on each month. So this month is the letter 'i' so you get some-one to stitch for and their address to send it to. This is my first one so hoping that the one I have made is ok.

Lastly I don't know if you know but I have been an Avon rep for around a year now and have started my own facebook page for that. It is called Clare prowse avon so please go over and give it a 'like'.

Until next time x

First day of the Easter Holidays

Well me and my son have had a lovely first day of the Easter holidays. We went out to lunch to Zacs restaurant in Norwich with two of my friends. We had some scrummy food and good conversations. Zacs is American themed and they have car number plates on the wall we noticed on one of them on the bottom it said Handicapped Vet. We where trying to work out if that's what is put on cars that belonged to the disabled ? If any-one knows the answer to that I'd love to know. After lunch we all ended up having a walk around Asda ! I have not been into a supermarket in eons as I do all our food shopping on-line. However I did buy 4 little yankee candles (you can't beat a yankee candle) a t-shirt for Kai and 2 dvd's. The plan for tomorrow is chilling out at home.

Ok well on another more stitchy note I thought I'd share with you one of my current projects. It is called 'Grumpy Owl' by Annya Kai turned into a cross stitch design by Heaven and Earth Designs.

So this is what is should end up looking like.

I started it August time last year

This is where I am now with it
Some of the pictures look a little weird but I'm not sure why they are showing up like that on here.

Well that is it for the time being...until next time x

I'm here again !!

Hello well the last week or so has been busy. I work in a pre-school and as a childcare worker you have to go on a First aid course and a child protection course every 3 years. So I have been busy doing them, the first aid course was over 2 Saturdays 9:00-4:30 so they are long days. The child protection course is only 3 1/2 hours long but as you can imagine it is quite intense. I passed both courses so I am now all upto date.

So on another note I got this back from the framers and my son is really pleased with it as it will go on his bedroom wall with the other 3 I have stitched for him. Its not the best photo but here it is.

So I have been stitching squares for a great charity that turns them into quilts for sick or needy children. They have a page on facebook if you want to have a proper look at what they do https://www.facebook.com/AuntyJane.at.SFPSFC . Here a 3 of the squares that I have stitched for them and will be putting in the post today. I changed the colours on a dinosaur chart that I had from pinks to yellow and greens. I really enjoyed stitching the monkey and there are other monkey charts in the range so I plan to stitch them once I have finished a couple of larger projects.

A friend of mine stitched some cross stitched cards and posted them to me to help raise money for the charity. I am selling them on my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Littlemisscrossstitch if you would like to have a look around. Here are a few of the cards that she stitched for me.

Right well that is it for now. Take care and have fun !
