New Year New ideas..

Well as I showed you on my last blog entry I am now stocking cross stitch and tapestry kits on my facebook page. I have also just opened an wholesale account with my beloved heaven and earth designs and will shorty be putting in my order for cross stitch charts. It is taking me a while to decide what charts I want to stock on my page i.e which ones people would like to stitch and not just the ones that I like ! So with this new side to my page I am thinking of starting my own website but really am not sure how to go about this or even if it is worth all the effort at the moment. So many ideas and questions flying around my head, I think all crafters feel the same as some point. 

Ok well a couple of blogs back I showed you a picture of a UFO (un-finished object) that a lady had sent to me to finish for her. Well here it is as it looks at the moment:

Not much more for me to do on it now and then I can send it back to her. My plan was to take it with me when I go to stitch and bitch at Biddy's tea room in Norwich but the last one was cancelled due to the snow. So I have been doing a little bit on it in the mornings before leaving for work ! My evenings are dedicated to finishing the 1st page on 'Old World Map' and I am nearly there now. 

I am waiting for my food shopping to be delivered and then I am going to be making some delicious Chocolate Brownies ! x

My facebook page http://www.facebook.com/Littlemisscrossstitch has got a new range of goodies ! I have now got in stock some lovely cross stitch and tapestry kits. My page in the past has been about selling the crafty bits that I have made such as cards, framed cross stitch etc etc. I am so excited about my new adventure...I just hope it takes off ! Here are a few bits that I have got o my page 

Personally I have been working on completing page one of 'Old world map' by heaven and earth designs. It is coming along quite nicely but there is a lot of confetti stitching involved in it so have only been doing around 200 stitches in an evening. I have got around 4000 stitches left to go to complete the page but hopefully will be able to put in a good few hours tomorrow. Once I have completed the whole page I will post a picture of it.

sorry that is a few days late but with the christmas holidays every-thing has been up in the air. But back to normality on Tuesday which in one way I am looking forward to and at the same time I'm not. I am sure that every-one feels the same at this time of year. 

Well I joined  group on facebook which is called UFO swaps (UFO stands for unfinished object). It is a group where people put posts on of cross stitch that they have not finished and they would like some-one else to finish it for them. I volunteered to finish pieces for a couple of ladies and I have received one of them through the post. Once I have finished it I am going to be sending it back to the lady in question. Here it is:

I will keep you up to date on how it is going. I am going to take it with me to 'Stitch and Bitch' which is held every other Tuesday at Biddy's tea room. The cross stitch projects I have got on the go at the moment are just too big to take there with me. 

So this jar is where I am going to put all my off cuts of thread and the DMC thread labels through 2013. I thought it would be interesting to see how much waste there is in a year of stitching !
