First week of the summer holidays ....

I get to enjoy the 6 weeks holiday this year yippee. So far I have learnt how to crochet ! I have wanted to crochet for such a long time and have tried to learn several times. But my good friend Sarah taught me at a thing called 'Stitch and Bitch'. It is held very other tuesday at Biddy's tea room in Norwich. Not only do you get to craft in a lovely environment but you also get to choose from a selection of yummy cake and tea ! Here is my crochet at the start of it...it is bigger now but have not taken any more photos of it. I promise I will do soon though

We have also been really busy with jigsaw puzzles and games when it got too hot to be outside. My son Loves a jigsaw puzzle and his favourite game at the moment is pairs.

We also met some of the school gang at an local park. Every-one brought picnics along and it was a lovely afternoon. My son decided to make a dirt angel though and as he was covered in suncream the dirt stuck to him. Boy did he need a shower when we got home. We also had a lovely walk around Whitlingham....

I am sure I will keep you up-dated with what I get upto over the summer ! On another note...I have started to make Christmas cards.
Let me know if you have enjoyed reading this post !

Rather Exciting Week

Well it has been a rather exciting week in our household. Firstly on Wednesday we went to see the Olympic Torch. My little boy was not happy about going all the way he was saying 'but why are we going to see the Olympic Torch' generally moaning all the way. But as soon as we got into the park and he saw how many people where their and heard the music his little face lit up.

This is my boy with Thomas Everett who was an Olympic Torch bearer. My boy nearly burst as he got to hold an Olympic Torch !

Yesterday we popped to pets at home to get some rabbit food and hamster food. Now I know I cant be the only one but I ended up getting talked into buying a new cage for my boys hamster. It is really more suitable than the one we had for him....but still I spent far more than planned ! I just cant say no to my boy when he looks at me with his puppy eyes and says please mummy. He also said thank-you to me a milion times last night before bedtime so I am very popular.

Today my man and my boy are travelling to Heathrow airport to pick up his daughter. She lives in New Zeland with her mum and her mums new husband. So she is comning to stay with us for the next month so that is really rather exciting. I am sure there will be lots of photos taken !

Lastly I am having a stall next Sunday at Sewell park family fun day..it is an outside event so fingers crossed the weather is good for that !

Until next time x
