Half term week !!

As you may be able to tell I am a little pleased it is half term this week. I work in a pre-school and a 7 week term is 1 week too long for our little ones. A lot of them get tired and grumpy ! We are in for another 7 weeks when we go back although this one is leading up to Christmas so hopefully the excitement will stop the grumpiness (fingers crossed).

We have got ourselves a new laptop which I am slowly learning to use. Some things on here just don't work how I think they will. I had trouble with dropbox and getting the photos I wanted on here but eventually worked it out. Some ways it was so much easier to use the pc even if it did take 100 times as long to connect to the internet lol.

So I have been working on my sister in laws Christmas present. It is a Lizzie Kate chart called Dog Lessons for People.

Day 9

I am hoping to get it finished over this half term week so I can carry on working on the Bluebell that I took on for some-one else.

I have had a couple of charity shop bargains over the last month. I brought this huge standing frame for a fantastic price of £1...I couldn't believe it when I saw £1 on it ! I had to have it..it is just right for the heaven and earth design projects that I have got on the go. They have taken a backseat at the moment so I can get the smaller projects done.
I also found this great cross stitch kit when I was out with my friend having a mooch around the charity shops. It was a whole £2 and came with every-thing..chart, aida and all of the threads needed.

On another note here is cute picture of Friday our little kitten. She likes to sit on my lap whilst I stitch and normally she likes to join in !

I got myself a new tattoo. It is a cover up on the first tattoo that I ever got when I was around 17. I had a small spider here but it was really blurry and I didn't like it. So came up with this with the tattooist. I love it !! The cat had to be a little fatter than first designed to cover up the spider but I'm still really pleased with it. This photo was taken after the first cling film came off and I had given it a bit of a wash.

Well that's it for now. x
