Garden in Bloom

Well it is a lovely sunny day here in lovely Norwich so I thought I would share a few photos. They are of some of the flowers and plants in my garden that are looking mighty fine ! I am not good with flower and plant names though so please don't ask what they are as I have not got a clue - I just know that they are pretty.

Hope you have a fab day ! x

My creative week

This week has been quite a lovely creative week. I got my first sale on Folksy of 5 cross stitched owl buttons. EXCITING !

I also had a couple of orders for some union jack buttons and some crown buttons.

Also a couple of weeks ago I posted a random blog about having a brilliant idea using embroidery hoops, waste canvas and some pretty fabric. Well here is the result and hopefully it will now all make sense

A few of my favourite things....at home

So this is a candlestick that I got given by my grandad many moons ago and 2 cute little owls.

My 3 cute little owl candles...my other half is always threatening to actually light these little babies. I think I would actually cry if he did !

This is my little collection of wade whimsies and other bits. Some of them came from my late father and some I have collected myself. I love my whimsies they have huge sentimental meanings for me.

I have always got a good book on the go and this is our bulging bookcase..we really need to get a bigger one or another one of the same to go next to it !

This is my daughters bedroom door and I love her creativness especially the beware with a wolves head below it.

These are some shelves that I have in my bedroom...the little kilner jars are all full with buttons. Got to love buttons.

This is my craft cupboard with my fantastic cricut imagine on top of it. Hanging on the handle is a owl that my lovely friend made for me. You may have noticed by now that I quite like owls.

This is my large wicker basket full of cross stitching kits, frame and pako organiser. I do love cross stitching but will probably take longer than my life time to complete every-thing that I would like to do.

My beautiful cushion that I purchased from Sarah Ellis i.e Emilylovesbagpuss . It is just so hugable.

Last but not least my sons bunting he made at Clutter City. He spent a good long time picking the papers he wanted to use and putting it all together. It has pride of place along his shelves..which you can see are full of lego !

Well I hope you liked the tour of my favourite things in my home x x
